The Smashing Pumpkins / Greatest Hits

The Smashing Pumpkins’ 2001 Greatest Hits aka ‘Rotten Apples’ was only ever officially issued on CD and cassette but now gets a vinyl release for the first time.

This of course features many of the band’s hit singles, including ‘Today’, ‘Bullet with Butterfly Wings’, ‘1979’, ‘Tonight, Tonight’ and others.

As 2CD set, this was a 34-track compilation, but the forthcoming 2LP edition features 18 tracks which is similar, but not identical to, the single CD offering at the time. The vinyl includes ‘Landslide’ (not on the single CD) and but omits ‘Try Try Try’ (which was).

This 2LP set of Greatest Hits will be released on 9 August 2024, via UME.
