Remixes of classic tracks produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards

Dimitri From Paris Presents Le Chic Remix is a new two-CD set featuring reworks of Chic, Sister Sledge and other artists produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards.

The producer, remixer and DJ has a history of remixing classic records, and indeed some of these Nile Rodgers-endorsed remixes were included on the 2013 Savoir Fair four-CD Chic deluxe set.

But this new remix collection is a more focused offering, with ten classic tracks remixed – including I Want Your Love, Lost In Music and He’s The Greatest Dancer. Three of these have never been issued before and these are all 2018 remasters.

The second disc offers instrumentals of each remix, most of which are unreleased. Dimitri used the original studio multi-track masters from circa 1978 – 1980 and therefore had access to all of the individually recorded musical and vocal elements recorded and produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards.

Dimitri From Paris Presents Le Chic Remix is released on 27 July 2018.
