New compilation due in November

UMC are to issue Film Music 1976-2020, a new Brian Eno compilation that brings together 17 tracks from Eno’s most recognisable film and television work, spanning five decades.

Eno has composed more than 20 soundtracks for directors such as David Lynch, Danny Boyle, Peter Jackson, Michelangelo Antonioni, Derek Jarman and Michael Mann. He has also scored extensively for TV, including UK crime drama ‘Top Boy’ which earned him a BAFTA.

This new collection features over an hour of music and includes compositions such as ‘Ship in a Bottle’ from The Lovely Bones, ‘Prophecy Theme’ from Dune, ‘Deep Blue Day’ from Trainspotting, ‘Late Evening in Jersey’ from Heat and ‘Beach Sequence’ from Antonioni’s last film Beyond The Clouds.
