Wham!’s classic festive single ‘Last Christmas’ is being reissued again, this time – as with ‘Careless Whisper‘ – to mark the 40th anniversary of the song.

CD single and 12-inch vinyl variants will offering the following four versions of the track:

  1. Last Christmas
  2. Last Christmas (Pudding Mix)
  3. Last Christmas (Live at Wembley Arena, December 2006)
  4. Last Christmas (Instrumental)

The difference from the CD single released in 2023 is that the single and Remix versions of ‘Everything She Wants’ are absent (‘Last Christmas’ was a double A-side). They are replaced by the instrumental version of ‘Last Christmas’ and a ‘Live at Wembley Arena, December 2006’ version (performed by George Michael, obviously, and not Wham!.

The quirky, shorter Pudding Mix Edit of ‘Last Christmas’ (issued on the B-side of the 12-inch of ‘Everything She Wants’, and included on the SDE-exclusive blu-ray audio of Make It Big) does not feature on any version of this 40th anniversary reissue.

There’s a black vinyl 12-inch, a snowflake white vinyl 12-inch and a Zoetrope vinyl 12-inch. All feature the four tracks listed above.

Last Christmas is released on 13 December 2024, via Sony Music.
