Gary Numan / Berserker reissue

4CD deluxe and 2LP vinyl

Gary Numan’s 1984 album Berserker will be reissued in April.

The first album issued on his own label, Numa Records, Berserker signified the beginning of a new period in Numan’s career, where he would take his sound in a new direction. It would also see Numan’s commercial fortunes dip somewhat (the second single from the album, ‘My Dying Machine’, was his first not to make the UK top 40, peaking at 66, and the album itself failed to crack the top 40).

The album has been remastered and expanded to a 4CD deluxe edition (with bonus remixes and live performance) and as a 2LP vinyl set with selected bonus tracks. Expanded digital versions of Numa era albums come to streaming on 7 March 2025, and presumably these will all be issued physically, in due course.

Berserker will be reissued on 25 April 2025 via BMG.
