Terry Hall / Laugh deluxe editions
2CD and vinyl editions

Terry Hall’s second album, Laugh, will be reissued in September.
Released in 1997, this was the follow up to Home which had been issued three years earlier. Much of Laugh was co-written with former Smiths guitarist Craig Gannon and includes further collaborations with Stephen Duffy, Damon Albarn and Sean O’Hagan (of The High Llamas).
This new version is released as a 2CD set with alternate cover sleeve, in seven-inch packaging, with a bonus CD featuring seven tracks. These are the same bonus tracks that were included back in 2009 when Edsel also issued a 2CD set of the album, although they have been newly remastered by Phil Kinrade for this release. Actually, this 2025 version offers one track less, because it omits the interview (originally on the ‘Ballad of a Landlord’ single) that featured on the deluxe set 16 years ago. Pete Paphides contributes notes.

There’s also a black vinyl edition of Laugh available (Demon actually released the album on vinyl back in 2019, three years before Hall’s death) and a ‘Dinked’ 2LP set pressed on red vinyl, with the bonus tracks.
Laugh will be reissued on 19 September 2025, via Demon.
