Madness / Hit Parade: The 7″ Singles Collection

Following last year’s CD and LP versions of Madness singles compilation Hit Parade, the Nutty Boys are now making it available as a limited edition seven-inch box set.

Hit Parade: The 7” Singles Collection 1979-1986 features 13 seven-inch singles from the period indicated, plus a couple of fan favourites that weren’t originally released as A sides (see tracklisting below). Each double A-side pressed on a unique transparent coloured vinyl single. These come in picture sleeves and are housed in a two-piece rigid box.

The 26-track collection features 15 Top 10 hit singles including ‘Our House’, ‘It Must Be Love’, ‘Baggy Trousers’, ‘One Step Beyond’, My Girl and ‘House Of Fun’. 

The box set comes with a 16-page booklet containing sleeve notes with various band members and long-time producers Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley, in conversation with renowned author and journalist Paul Sexton.

Hit Parade: The 7” Singles Collection 1979-1986 can be pre-ordered from the band’s official store and ships with an unsigned print (signed ones were available for a short time, but are now sold out).
