America / The Warner Bros. Years 1971-1977 / 8CD box set

Rhino will next month issue The Warner Bros. Years 1971-1977 an eight-CD box set featuring the seven America albums released by the label during the 1970s.

This clamshell box contains America (1971), Homecoming (1972), Hat Trick (1973), Holiday (1974), Hearts (1975), Hideaway (1976), Harbor (1977), and America Live (1977). Each CD is packaged in vinyl replica wallets featuring original album art “and inserts”. This set is compiled from the new 2014 audio masters.

The Warner Bros. Years 1971-1977 is released on 16 July 2015

Paul you should change the title of the news to 1971-1977. Was surprised first how so many albums would fit on 8 cds when I saw it only spans the career of the band for 6 years.

That’s because it covers eight albums they made. It sounds exceptionally good. Whoever did the mastering did a good job. Any guesses as to who did it?
