Audiophile quality original stereo mixes confirmed for Heaven 17 SDE blu-rays

SDE is pleased to confirm that as well as offering a series of new Dolby Atmos, 5.1, Stereo and Instrumental mixes, the previously announced Heaven 17 Penthouse and Pavement and The Luxury Gap SDE exclusive blu-rays will both offer very high resolution transfers of the original stereo mixes.

Audiophile 192 kHz / 24 bit flat transfers of the original EQ’d production masters (used for the original vinyl pressings) will feature, alongside 96/24 versions of the same audio (to cover off any compatibility issues). No remastering, no compression and no limiting!

This original stereo audio is the highest resolution version of the albums ever released and they are exclusive to this physical product. These sit alongside the new 2026 mixes, offering the following 8 audio streams for each album on each blu-ray:

This means that even if you are not an immersive audio fan, there’s an extensive amount of incredible stereo content for you to enjoy, including David Kosten’s new stereo mix, the new instrumental stereo mix and these hi-res flat transfers of the original mix. These blu-rays are genuinely a ‘best of both words’ offering and surely the last word on these fine records.

The Penthouse and Pavement blu-ray is #59 in the SDE Surround Series and The Luxury Gap is #60. Both will be packaged similarly to previous editions and ship with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase. They each come with a 12-page booklet with Alexis Petridis’ new sleeve notes.
