Massively expanded with 25 unreleased recordings

Climie Fisher’s debut album Everything will be reissued as a 5CD box set, in March.

The British pop duo consisted of vocalist Simon Climie and former keyboardist Rob Fisher. Climie was a musician and songwriter who at the time was best know for co-writing the George Michael and Aretha Franklin number one ‘I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)’ while Rob Fisher (who sadly died in 1999) had enjoyed success in the early 80s as one half of new wave duo Naked Eyes, who racked up a couple of big US hit singles from their first album.

Everything was released in 1988 and is best remembered for the hits ‘Rise to the Occasion’ and ‘Love Changes Everything’, the latter of which initially flopped in the UK, then hit No 2 when it was re-released. Five tracks on the album were produced by Steve Lillywhite while six were produced by Stephen Hague (although for the Hip Hop Mix of ‘Rise to the Occasion’ Hague’s original production gets “additional production and remix” from Phil Harding).

The 5CD box set is incredibly comprehensive, including as it does numerous single versions, B-sides, edits, alternate versions, extended mixes and a massive 25 previously unreleased recordings (including a load of dub mixes and extended versions).

All tracks have been remastered (using the original master tapes) and the box comes with a 28-page booklet with lyrics, discography, rare photos, and more.

The Everything 5CD box will be released on 21 March 2025, via Cherry Red.
