George Michael’s classic 1987 debut album Faith is being reissued early next year with formats including an SDE exclusive blu-ray audio with a Dolby Atmos Mix and 13 bonus tracks.

Faith’s commercial success was incredible. It topped the charts in over 10 countries, including the UK and the USA, and spawned four Billboard Hot 100 No 1 singles (‘Faith’, ‘Father Figure’, ‘One More Try’ and ‘Monkey’). It won album of the year at the Grammy Awards in early 1989 and has sold a reported 25 million copies worldwide.

As with the Wham! SDE blu-rays of 2024, the Dolby Atmos Mix (and 5.1 mix) has been created by the album’s original engineer, Chris Porter. The following audio streams are included on the Faith SDE exclusive blu-ray (the stereo mix is newly mastered).

Additionally, the blu-ray features 13 stereo bonus tracks, including the 13 minute Monogamy Mix and 7″ mix of ‘I Want Your Sex’, the radio edit version of Shep Pettibone’s ‘Hard Day’ remix, the instrumental version of ‘Father Figure’ and two commercially unreleased promo-only versions of ‘Monkey’. The 7″ version of ‘I Want Your Sex’ (and the Monogamy Mix) is featured on a Faith reissue for the first time.

Other formats in this reissue campaign include a CD, a single LP black vinyl edition, and 2LP black and coloured (red and black marbled) vinyl editions of Faith with a single bonus track: The Monogamy Mix of ‘I Want Your Sex’ on side four. The vinyl and 2LP sets are pressed on BioVinyl at Optimal and come in gatefold sleeve with printed inners.

This Faith SDE exclusive blu-ray audio is #56 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series and will be released on 20 February 2026, via Sony Music. It will be packaged similarly to previous editions (in a clear amaray case) and ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase. Please note: this blu-ray will be shipping without shrink-wrap.
