Manic Street Preachers’ masterpiece, 1994’s The Holy Bible has been mixed in Dolby Atmos, 5.1, Stereo and Instrumental form by Steven Wilson for a new SDE exclusive blu-ray.
The SDE blu-ray actually leads with The Holy Bible Live, a new live album featuring 2014 performances recorded across the three nights played at the Roundhouse in London, in 2014. The Holy Bible Live features every track from the original album played live – no overdubs and mixed by Dave Eringa months after the performance.

The Holy Bible Live is also being issued as a 2LP vinyl set, a CD+blu-ray and 2CD+blu-ray editions. Note: the blu-rays in those sets are not the same as the SDE blu-ray. They feature a concert film with a stereo soundtrack, namely Kieran Evans’ Be Pure, Be Vigilant, Behave, shot across every night of the 2014 tour (the band played shows in Glasgow and Manchester, as well as London) and cut to the audio recordings from the Roundhouse shows. The film has been previously been shown at festivals and one-off events around the country, this is the first time it has been available to the public.
The CD+blu-ray has The Holy Bible Live on CD 1 and the film on the blu-ray. The 2CD+blu-ray is the same except CD 2 features Steven Wilson’s Stereo Mix of The Holy Bible studio album.
The Holy Bible Live (Region-free) SDE exclusive blu-ray audio is #77 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series and will be packaged similarly to previous editions (clear amaray case) and ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase.
