NOW 12″ 80s: 1986 Part One

46 remixes from 1986 across a 4CD set

NOW Music continue their 12″ 80s series with a 4CD look at 1986.

This set (which is Part One) features 46 tracks in extended form from classic artists of the era, including George Michael, Pet Shop Boys, a-ha, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Culture Club, OMD, Simple Minds, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and more.

Highlights include George Michael’s excellent standalone single ‘A Different Corner’ (albeit the 12-inch version is only different thanks to a 30 second string intro), the near nine-minute Julian Mendelsohn ‘Full Horror’ extended mix of Pet Shop Boys ‘Suburbia’, the ‘Broad’ mix of Frankie’s ‘Rage Hard’ and the 12-inch version of Culture Club’s underrated ‘Move Away’. a-ha are represented by two tracks: the extended version of their only UK No 1 ‘The Sun Always Shines On TV’ and the long version of ‘I’ve Been Losing You’ which was the first single from Scoundrel Days. As ever, full tracklistings are below.

NOW 12″ 80s: 1986 Part One will be released on 6 February 2026.
