Neil Young / Roxy: Tonight’s The Night Live
This Neil Young double live album remains RSD exclusive until Friday when it receives a wider release. The Record Store Day version does at least have an exclusive photo print.
Human League / Secrets (2CD deluxe edition)
Double disc reissue of The Human League‘s semi-forgotten 2001 album that came and went in the blink of an eye, largely due to their record company at the time going insolvent.
Van Morrison / You’re Driving Me Crazy
Van Morrison‘s third studio album in less than a year, might well be the pick of the recent releases, since it’s a collaboration with with jazz organ virtuoso Joey DeFrancesco and the previews have sounded excellent.
Plenty / It Could Be Home
Before Tim Bowness formed No-Man with Steven Wilson he was in a band called Plenty. They existed between 1986 and 1988 and wrote many songs (compiled into three cassettes) but played only a couple of gigs and didn’t release anything officially. Three decades later, the band have revisited and re-recorded the songs and are issuing, It Could Be Home, the album that never was. Preview Strange Gods below and read the full story behind this release here.
