Pet Shop Boys / Dreamworld Live

New concert film with stereo and 5.1 surround mixes.

Pet Shop Boys will release a concert film of Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live this coming May.

The live performance was recorded at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen in June of 2023, as part of the band’s Dreamworld Greatest Hits tour. Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the band’s first release, Dreamworld was initially released in cinemas at the start of 2024, and is now being made available on CD and blu-ray.

Given its billing as the band’s first-ever greatest hits tour, the set list is as you would expect, featuring all the hits including the likes of ‘West End Girls’, ‘Love Comes Quickly’, ‘Suburbia’, ‘It’s A Sin’, ‘Heart’, ‘Domino Dancing’ and many more. It is directed by David Barnard, who has previously directed live recordings for the likes of Nick Cave, Eric Clapton, and Gorrilaz.

Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live At The Royal Arena Copenhagen will be released on 2CD+Blu-ray. It was recorded on 14 cameras shooting at 4K, and features both a stereo and 5.1 surround sound mix, which has been remixed and produced by David and Mike Woolley.

Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live at the Royal Arena Copenhagen will be released on 2 May 2025 via Parlophone.
