Pet Shop Boys / Loneliness CD single now available to pre-order

Loneliness, the Pet Shop Boys first single from their new album Nonetheless, is now available to pre-order as a CD single.

None of the three tracks on the CD are available on the new album, since Loneliness is a special radio edit and ‘Party in the Blitz’ and ‘Through You’ are both brand new songs. Curiously ‘Through You’ is an extended mix; whether a standard version will emerge remains to be seen.

Although Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have given away the odd CD, with issues of their book Annually, ‘Loneliness’ is their first full commercial CD single since ‘I Don’t Wanna’, in 2020. It is also the first CD single not to feature a remix of the main song since 2012’s ‘Winner’.

Loneliness is released on 16 February 2024 via Parlophone.
