Slade / Alive! coloured vinyl reissue

Slade’s 1972 album pressed on ‘splatter’ vinyl

BMG’s Slade vinyl reissue campaign continues with a re-release of the band’s 1972 album Alive!

Slade’s first live album, Alive! was culled from three live performances at London’s Command Theatre Studio (situated in Picadilly and formerly a BBC studio).

Slade’s Alive! is pressed on red and black splatter vinyl

It’s only a seven-track album and features three Slade originals and covers of songs by Ten Years After, The Lovin’ Spoonful, Bobby Marchan, and Steppenwolf. It peaked at number two in the UK charts at the time.

The vinyl reissue is pressed on red and black splatter vinyl and will be released on 28 January 2022
