Snow Patrol / The Forest is the Path – Extended Edition

Snow Patrol are to issue what they are calling an ‘Extended Edition’ of their 2024 album The Forest is the Path on CD, in March.

The band went back into the studio with producer Fraser T Smith in final weeks of 2024 and recorded a number of brand new songs. Rather than sit on them, they’ve decided to put them on this new expanded version of the album (although of course issuing them as a standalone EP was also an option!).

The 12-track long-player, which topped the UK album charts, now grows to an 18-track version with the additional songs including ‘This Is The Silence’, ‘What’s Left In The Light’ and ‘Waking Up Now’. There’s also a remix of ‘This Is The Sound Of Your Voice’.

This new Extended Edition of the album will be released on 14 March 2025, via Polydor. For the time being at least, there’s only a CD version.
