The Sundays / Reading Writing and Arithmetic vinyl and CD reissue

The Sundays‘ three studio albums, released between 1990 and 1997 are being reissued on vinyl and CD next month.

Formed in 1988 and signed, initially, to Rough Trade, the British indie-rock band issued Reading Writing and Arithmetic in 1990, which features ‘Here’s Where The Story Ends’ and ‘You’re The Only One I Know’; Blind in 1992; and in 1997, Static & Silence, which featured the UK top 20 hit ‘Summertime’.

The band have released nothing since 1997, although apparently lead vocalist Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin (who are a couple) have never stopped making music. We won’t hold our breath.

There is no word on whether these three albums have been remastered, but they will be available on black vinyl (140g pressings in single sleeves) and CD (digisleeve), without any bonus tracks.

Reading, Writing and Arithmetic, Blind and Static & Silence will be released on 14 August 2026, via Parlophone.
