Tracy Chapman’s debut to be reissued on vinyl
35th anniversary edition

Tracy Chapman’s eponymous debut album will be reissued on vinyl next month.
The long-player features the singles ‘Fast Car’, ‘Talkin’ Bout A Revolution’, and ‘Baby Can I Hold You’, and has gone on to sell more than 20m copies worldwide, since its release in 1988.

This is being promoted as a 35th anniversary reissue (?) and has been prepared for release by Chapman and the album’s original producer, David Kershenbaum. The album is pressed on 180g vinyl with audio sourced from an analogue master. It comes with the insert of translated lyrics, which accompanied the original international release. As well as a standard black vinyl edition, an exclusive orange vinyl version is available via Amazon.
Tracy Chapman will be reissued on 4 April 2025, via Rhino/Elektra.
