David Bowie: “I will not play these songs ever again.. “

22 years ago David Bowie dramatically ‘retired’ much of his classic back catalogue from live performance when he kicked-off his Sound + Vision tour in April 1990. I stood in a field in Milton Keynes to watch him play because I believed him… He went on to play many of them again in subsequent tours. Nice to see him get quite spiky with a journalist “Cashing in on my songs? That’s 25 years of my life!”
