Sparks / New album, MAD!

Sparks will release a new album called MAD!, in May.

Musically we are promised “nods to New Wave, Synthpop, Art Rock and Electronic Opera” and the 12-track album includes the new single ‘JanSport Backpack’ which you can preview, below.

Formats include CD, black vinyl, blue vinyl with lenticular sleeve, cassette and a deluxe red vinyl which comes with a CD (the latter exclusive to the band’s shop).

Sparks have also announced a 2025 world tour which starts in Japan in early June and ends in Italy in July. MAD! will be released on 23 May 2025, via Transgressive Records.
