Deep Purple’s classic 1972 live album Made In Japan is reissued as 5CD+Blu-ray and 10LP boxsets featuring newly remixed versions of all three of its concerts, plus both stereo and Atmos mixes by
Steven Wilson.
The Albums 1974-1976 is a 3CD clamshell box set that includes Be-Bop Deluxe’s first three studio albums: 1974’s Axe Victim, the Roy Thomas Baker produced Futurama (1975) and Sunburst Finish from 1976. Comes with a booklet.
The Cranberries / No Need to Argue (30th anniversary)
The Cranberries‘ No Need to Argue anniversary release is available as a 2CD set or as a 2LP vinyl package. Both feature the same 9 bonus tracks, including an unreleased demo of ‘Zombie’ and a few tracks from Woodstock in 1994. Stephen Street (the original producer) has remastered the album and there’s actually also a single LP and single CD version without the extras.
The 1987 Pretenders ‘best of’ is reissued as a 2LP set. It features the 2018 remasters by Chris Thomas except for the tracks from Get Close, which are brand new remasters!
Coldplay reissue their debut album – and all their album albums – on Eco vinyl. ‘EcoRecord’ is an injection-moulded LP is made entirely from, on average, nine recycled plastic bottles. It has been manufactured using 100% recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate), instead of PVC. Consumers are promised no degradation in sound quality. If you aren’t sold on the Eco credentials, all the single LPs are under £25 which pretty competitive these days.
