Pre-order window about to close
The pre-order window for the SDE exclusive blu-ray of Dire Straits’ 1991 album On Every Street closes today.
The album features the singles ‘Calling Elvis’, ‘Heavy Fuel’, ‘On Every Street’ and ‘The Bug’. ‘You and Your Friend’ and ‘Ticket to Heaven’ were also issued in some regions. On Every Street was No 1 in the UK and across many countries in Europe.
The SDE exclusive blu-ray audio features a brand new Dolby Atmos Mix by Dire Straits band member and longtime Mark Knopfler associate Guy Fletcher and a 2026 stereo remaster by Miles Showell. Miles has confirmed that this is non-limited audio and is the same high quality source used for a forthcoming vinyl version of this album. The blu-ray also features an instrumental version of the album in Dolby Atmos, the first time the album has ever been available in instrumental form (it’s a wonderful listen).

The On Every Street (Region-free) blu-ray audio is #72 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series and will be packaged similarly to previous editions (clear amaray case) and ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase. At the artist’s request, there may be some availability of this blu-ray on the Mark Knopfler store (without the slipcase).
