It’s just £16.99 which is around HALF of the original price and potentially even cheaper through some third party sellers. Great deal for those based in the UK although it’s very cheap across Europe right now. The blu-rays in this package are ALL REGIONS.

Great Set at a great price! had my eye on this for a while as well but the prices were at $40 to 60 usd at the time and i was low on cash. Got the deall for a total of $22 with tax delivery to california!! For a Beatles fan or a fan of great music period this cant be missed! For all you without a Blu-ray Player get with the times its 2017 and Blu-ray been around since 2005 and before that DVD was in 1996, and one blu-ray player now plays all dvds and Blu’s. I would say grab a new 4kUHD Blu player as it plays everything from cd,dvd, blus and 4kUHD Blu;s AND 4k blus are all region NO more country codes!! The price is right as the cheapest new players are under 200 usd. might as well plunge in and get ahead of the herd.
That’s all well and good if one is willing to wait sixteen months before enjoying this release. As a die hard Beatles fan and collector I usually pre order all Beatles releases since the advent of Amazon.
Everything is marketing. You have a regular edition CD, a deluxe edition that throws in as little as a couple of extra tracks or maybe if lucky a second CD. Then you have a super deluxe edition with probably the album, 1 or 2 bonus CDs and either a DVD or BR or both. Throw in some memorabilia junk [if a re-issue]. May or may not contain a vinyl in it.
Then there is a separate vinyl release and a deluxe multiple vinyl release where the last side in the set has exclusive tracks that the super deluxe edition doesn’t even have. Oh and a digital download as well of the album.
Many thanks, Paul; this is a fantastic price. I nearly shelled out 60 quid last week.
Fab!
I fell for this Limited Edition selling point when the Beatles in Mono box set came out. To be fair, it was a big deal not only because it was The Beatles, but it was plausible in the sense that it may have been the first instance of an artist’s catalogue being issued in in mono whereby – at least in the US, it hadn’t been the predominant mix.
But yeah, fool me twice…
I don’t know. The mono box set may actually be limited. Who’s going to fork over a few hundred £s for something they may already have. It’s either for the very few newbees or the collectors or those who buy it and then sell it for 5 times the price on eBay or Amazon’s Marketplace.
Why are people complaining? I don’t remember a huge fuss about a limited edition when it came out and I have had it for 18 months to enjoy before today’s price. And who really cares whether it’s limited or not. People who want to sell for more money?
The words ‘limited edition’ are now seemingly even more meaningless than they were in the days of multiple format singles. Unless it’s an absolute favourite artist, I will now wait for price drops on box sets, I refuse to be duped any longer.
Half price! Yes please! Been on the shopping list for a while… and finally, two Blu-rays – not a Blu-ray/DVD combo release. Although I’d have probably sent the DVD to my mum if it came with one!
Each time I saw it at my local HMV I put it back. It was 75.00$ + 2 taxes. Glad I waited. Ordered it.
Thanks Paul, been meaning to get this for a while now!
Thanks Paul!! Here in México it costs the equivalent to £50. Just bought it for £16.5 including shipping!!
$22.44 delivered to my mailbox in the U.S. via Amazon UK. I almost forgive them for the autographed Simple Minds’ “Acoustic” CD blunder- ok, I guess I do. Thanks for the heads up Mr. Sinclair.
Off topic….but do any of you folks know a good website for purchasing the 2007 Genesis CD+DVD reissues? Either the box sets or the individual titles. Thanks..!

This is Beatles related?
Paul, you are the MAN. I spend money like a fool on a hill every time I check this site, which is usually eight days a week. I don’t care too much for money, but I do love my rock & roll music…Thanks
Just bought it for 15 Pounds on Dodax, no shipping costs!
bluray is only about 15yrs old how come everyone doesn’t own 1 dvd picture quality for movies is awful after watching bluray on a hidef tv don’t think it makes a blind bit of difference in 5.1 audio quality though
£15.45 delivered, not quite sure it’s possible to get a better price…
Thanks, again, Paul. Snagged this, and will wait for the inevitable Deal Alert on the Pepper box.
Great, I’ve been waiting for this to drop in price at some point. Cheers Paul.
what a laugh !
limited edition of maybe 3 million copies…
will wait for a better price
Bought it a couple of years ago, so yes great price but so frustrating given the current price.
Yes! Thanks, Paul! I’ve been eyeing this since I got a Blu-Ray drive recently (didn’t get this when it was released) and it’s been $40 on Amazon US for a while now.
Thanks again!
I think limited means only everyone on the planet can have 1
or limited to as many as they can sell at full price
lol
bought it!, thank you as allways!!! ;)
Shouldn’t the ‘Surround’ tag be removed? Reverb does not a 5.1 mix create.
Amen. Felt very cheated. Looking at the Sgt Pepper SDE with a “fool me once” eye.
That wonderful word ltd !!!
Damn! I bought it full price on the day it was released!!
Thanks, whatta’ deal !
Just bought it from Dodax £14.22 plus £1.26 postage. I don’t have a Blu-ray player either!!
With that savings you can buy a cheap Bluray player!
Now if only the Pepper box would go down in price! I suppose that it is too soon for that but one can hope…
Like them or not it’s a part of history you have to own and what a great price
You make me spend money I hadn’t intended to spend.
If I had children they would go hungry.
Its a nice set, but am i the only person feeling cheated, after buying it at twice the price a couple of years ago, when it was being pushed as “limited edition”?
I got the Floyd’s Early Years set for full price (£385) when it came out because there were also rumours it was a limited edition.
A few weeks later it was available at about £150 quid less….some you win, some you lose….
No, you are not the only one!
Me too! Suckers R We.
It works the other way round as well. I’ve waited for items to come down in price when the words Limited and Edition were nowhere to be seen only to find them discontinued.
Been there, too. Really wanted the Best of Japan DVD that was around 20 quid. It got deleted after a few months and now you’d struggle to get a used one for double the original price. :-(
I don’t remember the “limited” part. And unless it said so on the packaging, you can blame whomever you got it from. Amazon is know to put improper labeling if it was them.
I don’t own a blue ray player, only DVD, and annoyingly that’s far more expensive than the blue ray!!
Not a massive Beatles fan but this is too good an offer to turn down, thanks Paul :)
