Bananarama’s third album, True Confessions, will be reissued in August for its 40th anniversary.
The 1986 long-player features the US No 1 ‘Venus’, as well as UK top 40 singles ‘Do Not Disturb’ and ‘A Trick Of The Night’.
The annivesary reissue is available as a 3CD set (featuring a plethora of remixes and rarities), a 2LP vinyl version (mostly new remixes on LP 2), a vinyl picture disc, three individual CD ‘band member’ editions (Sara, Siobhan and Keren) which have appropriate artwork and unique audio at the end, in the form of ‘True Confessions’ from the band member in question. These are 2026 interviews based on their memories of recording the album, etc. Each ‘band member’ edition CD also has a hidden bonus track (they’re all different).
The official shop is offering signed bundles and a free ‘Venus’/’More Than Physical’ CD single with the first 1000 orders.
True Confessions will be released on 28 August 2026 via London Records.
