Limited coloured vinyl available again
The career-compressing single LP edition of Elton John’s 2017 ‘best of’ Diamonds was reissued on vinyl at the end of June in a very special ‘Pyramid Edition’ after his record-breaking performance at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival.
The collection has been newly artworked and comes pressed on a special coloured vinyl featuring a purple/white pattern. It also includes a commemorative 10″x10″ litho print.
It looks really good, to be fair, and seemed to sell out almost instantly at the time. However Amazon in the UK appears to have availability once again. If you don’t like this version then the pretty cool ‘baseball’ picture disc edition, which was D2C-only (direct-to-consumer) is now available across various retail channels (although it’s quite scarce).
The Diamonds coloured vinyl Pyramid Edition is out now via UMC/Mercury.
