NOW Yearbook ’88 – Extra

3CD set with 60 hits

Now That’s What I Call Music follow up their Yearbook 1988 with a companion 3CD ‘Extra’ version which offers 60 more tracks.

This extra helping of pop from late in the Eighties has some great songs, including on CD 1 George Michael’s ‘One More Try’, the Pet Shop Boys’ ‘Domino Dancing’, and music from Robert Palmer, Chris Rea, Sade, Kylie, T’Pau, The Bangles and more.

The second disc boasts some indie-pop from the likes of Echo and the Bunnymen and The Primitives before going a bit ‘dance’ with music from Krush, S’Express, Coldcut feat. Yazz & The Plastic Population and The Beatmasters feat. The Cookie Crew.

The third and final disc is a mixed bag featuring more Kylie, Elton John, Bros, Fairground Attraction, Tiffany, Five Star, Milli Vanilli and ends with the magnificent ‘Keeping the Dream Alive’ from (Münchener) Freiheit.

The Now Yearbook ’88 – Extra 3CD set will be released on 12 January 2024.
