RAM tribute album to get vinyl release

Last year’s tribute to Macca’s RAM album –  Ram On: The 50th Anniversary Tribute to Paul & Linda McCartney’s Ram – is to be released on vinyl for the first time in August.

The album saw a collective of musicians, lead by Denny Seiwell – the original drummer on the record (and Wings member from 1971-1973) – and producer/multi-instrumentalist Fernando Perdomo, recreate the album to exacting detail with a few bonus numbers at the end.

SDE really enjoyed this record and interviewed Denny Seiwell at the time. The three bonus tracks appended to the album are ‘Another Day’, ‘Oh Woman Oh Why’ and ‘Too Many People Slight Return’. Adding these to the vinyl means it’s a 2LP set, with LP 2 starting with ‘Monkberry Moon Delight’.

Ram On: The 50th Anniversary Tribute to Paul & Linda McCartney’s Ram is released on vinyl on 19 August 2022 via Spirit of Unicorn Music.
