Stiff Little Fingers will release an expanded edition of their second album 1980’s Nobody’s Heroes, next month.

Nobody’s Heroes was the Belfast band’s first album for Chrysalis and the first to feature the classic SLF line-up of Jake Burns (guitar and vocals), Henry Cluney (guitar), Ali McMordie (bass) and new drummer Jim Reilly. Expectations were high following the classic debut, 1979’s Inflammable Material, but tracks such as the single ‘Gotta Gettaway’ and Specials cover ‘Doesn’t Make It Alright’ helped it reach No 8 in the UK chart.

In keeping with last year’s acclaimed Inflammable Material reissue, Nobody’s Heroes will be available over three physical formats – a 3CD+DVD set, a 2CD edition and a 2LP edition.

3CD+DVD deluxe set

The limited edition 3CD+DVD book-style set includes a new remastered version of the original album with six bonus tracks, a disc of BBC sessions (all previously available), and a previously unreleased 17-track live set recorded in Rotterdam in April 1980. Meanwhile, the DVD includes five performances taken from Top Of The Pops and Something Else.

The 2CD edition replicates the first two discs of the 3CD+DVD set. The 2LP edition features the remaster of the original album on the first LP and the BBC sessions on the second.

Nobody’s Heroes will be released on 18 September 2026 via Rhino.
