The Stranglers’ 1983 album Feline is being reissued as a 40th anniversary edition.
The band’s first for their then new label Epic, the album features the top 10 UK single ‘European Female’ as well as minor hits ‘Midnight Summer Dream’ and ‘Paradise’. Feline was produced by The Stranglers and Steve Churchyard and was mixed by Tony Visconti.
The anniversary reissue is available as a 2LP vinyl set, pressed on transparent pink/red vinyl and as a 2CD deluxe edition. Both vinyl and CD editions contain the same nine bonus tracks which include single edits, B-sides and the 10 minute 12-inch mix of ‘Midnight Summer Dream’. The 2CD set includes a booklet with notes by the band’s biographer and journalist, Chris Twomey.
Feline will be reissued on 3 March 2023, via BMG.
