The Family Silver / Electric Blend unboxing video

Watch, as SDEtv unboxes all formats of the new reissue of The Family Silver’s 2015 album, Electric Blend.

The Family Silver are a classic British power trio comprising singer and guitarist Matt Deighton (Mother Earth, Paul Weller, Oasis), drummer Steve White (Paul Weller, The Style Council) and bass player Damon Minchella (Ocean Colour Scene).

Electric Blend was their only album. It was self-released in 2015 via PledgeMusic and the only other studio recordings made were a 6-track EP (Blaze of Light). Around 500 CDs of that were privately pressed and sold at gigs.

The SDE Records reissue brings together album and EP for a 2CD deluxe set (with bonus tracks and eight unreleased cuts) and a blu-ray audio with Atmos Mixes of both album and EP and a short film showing the band rehearse and play live in 2016 (previously unreleased).

Both formats are available to order exclusively via the SDE shop and if you buy the two together in a bundle, it ships with a FREE 6-track CD single of ‘If Only For Tomorrow’ with six tracks exclusive to CD (four of them previously unreleased).

Electric Blend is released tomorrow, 16 October 2026 via SDE Records. Order from the SDE shop using this link or the buttons below.
