Guns N’ Roses reissue their albums Use Your Illusion I & Use Your Illusion II across nine different physical formats. The 7CD+blu-ray version (there’s 12LP vinyl set as well) currently has an SDE Reader Rating of just 1.3 out of 5.

A new Human League vinyl box set called The Virgin Years features four albums – Dare (1981), Hysteria (1984), Crash (1988) and Romantic? (1990) – plus the extended EP Fascination, all pressed on 180g coloured vinyl. Watch the SDEtv unboxing video.

Demon Music release Life Moves Pretty Fast: The John Hughes Mixtapes, the first official compilation of music from the movies of the legendary filmmaker, John Hughes. Watch out for an SDE interview with Hughes’ music supervisor Tarquin Gotch later this week…

The next in the series of Depeche Mode 12-inch singles boxes is released this week. Playing The Angel: The 12″ Singles spotlights the remixes from the band’s 11th studio album, originally issued back in 2005. If you’ve been collecting these then you have to see it through to the bitter end!

The 3LP red vinyl edition of Now That’s What I Call Christmas is released this week.
