Eric Clapton / Meanwhile (new album)

Originally issued digitally last October, Meanwhile is Eric Clapton’s twenty-second  solo album and along with six new tracks, the album also features eight songs Clapton has previously released as singles beginning from 2020, including collaborations with Van Morrison and Jeff Beck.

Thin Lizzy / The Acoustic Sessions (new album)

Thin Lizzy is back with a fresh take on some of their most iconic tracks, marking their first new release in over four decades. This acoustic album ‘reimagines’ beloved songs, offering a stripped-back sound that exposes the core of their songwriting. Original vocals from Phil Lynott are paired with brand-new guitar parts from founding member Eric Bell, creating a new listening experience for fans.

Matt Berry / Heard Noises

“TV’s Matt Berry” returns with his first new solo album since 2021’s superb The Blue Elephant. This is described as a “Soul and West Coast Psych-inspired collection of songs, which attach an innate sense of melody to a lush, contemporary take on classic recording techniques”. If you’re not sure what that means, let me tell you it doesn’t matter. I’ve heard it and it’s great (as his albums usually are).
