Caravan / Who Do You Think We Are? CD, Blu-ray, DVD
Massive Caravan box set featuring 35 CDs, a DVD and a blu-ray. Produced by Madfish this set is limited to 2,500 copies worldwide and comes with a photo signed by surviving members of the band and includes a 144-page hardback coffee table book. Order via the SDE shop.
Level 42 / Forever Now Vinyl
Level 42‘s 1994 album is issued on vinyl for the first time – a limited silver/black ‘marbled’ vinyl edition limited to just 1500 units.
Eric Clapton / Eric Clapton CD, Vinyl
Eric Clapton‘s eponymous debut album is expanded and reissued as a four-CD deluxe edition in August.
Matt Berry / Witchazel and Kill The Wolf vinyl reissues Vinyl
Phantom Birds and The Blue Elephant, Matt Berry‘s first two albums, are reissued as coloured vinyl pressings by Acid Jazz.
Garbage / Garbage and Version 2.0 reissues CD, Vinyl
Garbage‘s first two albums were reissued (again) in August, although BMG have saved this pink coloured vinyl edition of their debut for this week’s National Album Day.
Lorde / Solar Power Vinyl
I like Lorde, but please let’s not encourage this CD-free ‘discless’ box, nonsense. It’s embarrasing, to be honest.
The Knife / Deep Cuts (coloured vinyl)
A vinyl reissue of Swedish electronic music duo The Knife‘s 2003 album Deep Cuts, which is pressed on limited edition magenta vinyl. This is the record that features ‘Heartbeats’, the song successfully covered by José González in 2006. The Knife’s third album, Silent Shout is also reissued this week as a coloured vinyl pressing
