Great price for this Madness deluxe edition which adds 18 bonus tracks (including demos, B-sides and BBC John Peel Session tracks) alongside brand new sleeve notes which include interviews with founder Madness members Chrissyboy Foreman, Mike Barson, Mark Bedford and Daniel Woodgate. An ‘album-only’ red vinyl version is also available.

Chrysalis remaster and reissue Athlete’s platinum 2003 debut album. The 4CD set is in DVD-sized casebound book and offers all the B sides from the debut album’s singles, previously unreleased demos, the complete London ULU concert from March 2003, and exclusive BBC sessions. For vinyl the album is issued as a 2LP set for the first time and is pressed on blue vinyl. The vinyl is expanded to include B-sides!

The ‘Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover’ singer-songwriter returns with her first album in 11 years. That single was from her 1992 debut Tongues and Tails but the Steve Lipson-produced follow-up, Whaler, is the better record in SDE’s opinion. Free Myself could be promising – have a listen to ‘Better Off Without You’.
