Black Sabbath / Supersonic Years: The Seventies Singles Box Set

Ten 1970’s seven-inch singles in rare/unreleased sleeves

June sees the release of The Supersonic Years: The Seventies Singles Box Set a new limited edition Black Sabbath seven-inch vinyl box set.

Despite the group’s self-imposed ‘ban’ on releasing singles in the early 1970s (it only lasted a couple of years) what we have here are ten vinyl singles from that era, including five rare single edits: Iron Man, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Am I Going Insane (Radio), Hard Road and Symptom Of The Universe.

The seven-inch vinyl records are house in ten “unique colour picture sleeves” which are rare or exclusive to the box set. Audio is remastered by Andy Pearce and this box – clearly designed as a companion to the Ten Year War set – includes a booklet with new sleeve notes.

The Supersonic Years: The Seventies Singles Box Set will be issued on 8 June by BMG in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the US.
