Miles Davis / Bitches Brew SACD

Sony Music in Japan have just released a multi-channel hybrid SACD (Super Audio CD) of Miles Davis‘ genre-busting 1970 classic Bitches Brew.

This multi-channel SACD features the QUAD mix on the multi-channel layer, while the stereo layer features a hi-res stereo 2018 remaster “derived from the original analog masters.”

As you can see from the unboxing video above, this SACD (it’s a two-disc set) is presented in an impressive oversized seven-inch gatefold package and includes a large booklet in English and Japanese and a sticker.
