Kate Bush’s 1985 and 2022 hit is issued on CD single. Still only on the US Rhino store, as far as SDE can tell and Kate herself hasn’t made any mention of it.
This compilation of Elton John ballads was issued originally back in 1995. It contains 18 songs and was actually issued on vinyl at the time, although the pressing was very limited. It’s now reissued on the format with the 2LP presentation faithful to the original. Three other Elton John albums are reissued on vinyl this week; they are: The Captain & The Kid (2006), Breaking Hearts (1984, features ‘Passengers’) and A Single Man (1978, features ‘A Song For Guy’).
Fatboy Slim’s Big Beach Boutique II was Norman Cook’s 2002 free open air concert at Brighton Beach, which attracted a crowd of 250,000 people. This release is a 20th anniversary set and features two CDs and a DVD of the concert film.
Mötley Crüe’s fourth studio album from 1987 is reissued on vinyl and CD. This is part of a wider reissue campaign via BMG and other albums are also available, including their 1981 debut Too Fast For Love.
