Now Yearbook ’84 – Extra / new 3CD set

Celebrating the brilliance of 1984 across just four CDs was always going to be a hard ‘ask’, so less than three months after NOW Yearbook ’84 was released, the Now team are preparing to deliver Now Yearbook ’84 – Extra, a second helping that offers 60 more superb pop hits from the likes of Queen, Eurythmics, Sade, Paul McCartney, Julian Lennon, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Duran Duran, Paul Young, Nik Kershaw, Thompson Twins and many more.

It’s great to see John Lennon’s posthumous hit ‘Nobody Told Me’ on CD 3 as well as singles from Lloyd Cole and The Commotions, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sandie Shaw, Pretenders, Marillion, The Stranglers and Echo and the Bunnymen. There’s also some interesting selections on the second disc including Talk Talk, David Sylvian, Tears For Fears and The Kane Gang.
