The delayed Volume 2, a second five CD box set of Joni Mitchell‘s Archives is released this week. The Reprise Years (1968-1971) is sequenced chronologically to follow Mitchell in real time through one of the most creative periods of her career.

R.E.M.‘s 1996 album New Adventures In Hi-Fi is reissued for its 25th anniversary across three physical formats.

The ‘Remixed & Updated’ version of Pink Floyd‘s 1987 album A Momentary Lapse of Reason – first included in 2019’s The Later Years box set – is being made available on separately on CD and vinyl and two ‘combo’ box sets offering CD+DVD or CD+blu–ray.

Tori Amos‘ follow-up to 2017’s Native Invader, is probably her most commercial album for ages. The CD was issued back in October and this week sees the vinyl edition emerge.

World Party‘s somewhat haphazard vinyl reissue campaign continues with the delayed classic Goodbye Jumbo. Only Egyptology left now.

The The‘s Royal Albert Hall show of 2018 (attended and reviewed by SDE) is released across many formats as The Comeback Special: Live at the Royal Albert Hall.

The excellent Now Yearbook series continues with 1984, the best year in pop! Choose from 3LP coloured vinyl or four-CD deluxe edition in hardcover book.

“IT’S CHRISTMAS!” The NOW team offer 68 Christmas songs on the three-CD edition of Now That’s What I Call Christmas and a still creditable 47 on the triple LP edition, pressed on – you guessed it – white vinyl. The CD set was released a few weeks ago, but the 3LP set is out this week.
