All the BBC recordings in one place for the first time • 2CD+BluRay mediabook or 3LP
The Selecter have announced At The BBC: The Complete Recordings 1979-1981, to be released in August.
At The BBC: The Complete Recordings 1979-1981 covers The Selecter’s glory years, from the first of two John Peel sessions in October 1979 (coinciding with their first-on-the-bill slot on the legendary first 2Tone tour, supporting Madness and The Specials) to an April 1981 performance on The Old Grey Whistle Test, recorded months before singer Pauline Black effectively called time on the band by leaving to pursue a solo career and acting ambitions (they’d officially split the year after).
The 30-track set marks the first time that all the beloved 2Tone act’s BBC recordings have been released in one place. The eight live tracks taken from a December 1979 show in Paris supporting The Specials were released on 1992’s BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert CD (which also included the headline act’s set). Five of those Paris tracks featured on the 15-track 1998 compilation BBC Sessions / Live At The Paris Theatre ’79, along with those two Peel sessions and a December 1980 set recorded for Mike Read. And that first Peel session appeared again on 2021’s 3CD edition of debut album Too Much Pressure, while the 1980 Peel and Read sessions were included on the 2022 2CD reissue of second album, Celebrate The Bullet.
Of particular interest then, for fans will be 10 audio tracks from TV appearances on BBC Midlands show Look! Hear! and The Old Grey Whistle Test and – most excitingly perhaps – a Blu-Ray featuring footage of all those performances (plus an extra Look! Hear! take on ‘Celebrate The Bullet’), as well as four Top Of The Pops appearances.
The 2CD+Blu-Ray set comes in DVD case-sized ‘mediabook’ packaging with a 20-page booklet including new 6,000-word sleevenotes by Simon Price (Curepedia: An A-Z Of The Cure, Everything: A Book About Manic Street Preachers).
The 3LP set is pressed on black vinyl and arrives in a rigid slipcase and four-page insert featuring Price’s sleevenotes.
At The BBC: The Complete Recordings 1979-1981 will be released on 28 August 2026 via Chrysalis.

The latest in Cherry Red’s series of Kim Wilde expanded editions has been announced. Wilde’s fifth album, Another Step, will be reissued as a 3CD+DVD package in August.
Another Step was an international hit on its November 1986 release, not least thanks to Wilde’s high-NRG makeover of The Supremes’ ‘You Keep Me Hangin’ On’, which reached No 1 in the United States, Australia, Canada and Norway (it was kept off the top spot in the UK by Berlin’s ‘Take My Breath Away’).
The expanded edition is a step up from Cherry Pop’s 2010 30-track, 2CD edition. All of the tracks that featured on that version are present and correct here, plus an additional 15 bonus tracks, mixes and instrumentals. Meanwhile, the 19-track DVD features a plethora of videos, live tracks and TV appearances – if you’ve spent the last 40 years yearning to see Wilde’s performance of ‘Another Step (Closer To You)’ on The Krankies’ Elektronik Komik again, all of your Christmases have come at once. What’s more, for such a comprehensive package, it’s well-priced, at under £30.
Also available are a 2CD edition, which has an identical tracklisting to that 2010 reissue, and two vinyl editions of the original album (red vinyl and picture disc).
Another Step 3CD+DVD Expanded Edition will be released on 30 October 2026 (was 28 August) via Cherry Red (the vinyl comes via Demon).

Jethro Tull’s 1976 compilation M.U – The Best Of Jethro Tull will be reissued on vinyl in July.
M.U. (an abbreviation of ‘musician’s union’) was the prog giants’ first ‘Best Of’ album on its initial release, with their previous compilation, 1972’s Living In The Past focusing on rare or previously unissued material. Still, it wasn’t entirely straightforward, with the 11-track, single-disc set featuring a host of alternative mixes, edits and the previously unreleased ‘Rainbow Blues’, an outtake from the sessions for 1974’s War Child, making it an essential purchase for Tull completists.
Though second-hand copies aren’t especially pricey or difficult to track down, this will be the first European vinyl reissue for almost 30 years. It’s been overseen by Ian Anderson and cut at half-speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road from the master.
The release is part of ‘Spirit Of ’76’, a new campaign from Warners which will see 23 albums from 1976 reissued, including Al Stewart’s Year Of The Cat, Black Sabbath’s Technical Ecstasy, Flamin’ Groovies’ Shake Some Action, the self-titled debut album by Ramones, Linda Ronstadt’s Hasten Down The Wind and Todd Rundgren’s Faithful.
M.U – The Best Of Jethro Tull will be released on 31 July 2026 via Warner Records.
Toyahhas announced Revelations, a rarities collection featuring material from the band’s time on Safari Records (1979-1983).
Revelations provides an alternate history of the Toyah Wilcox-fronted new wavers by way of B-sides, outtakes, instrumentals, alternate versions, home demos and live tracks. Record label Cherry Red say that “it has been designed to perfectly complement the album catalogue reissue programme”. Remarkably, given how comprehensive the individual album reissues were, 50 of the 102 tracks on Revelations are previously unreleased. The box has been compiled by by Toyah archivist Craig Astley alongside Joel Bogen, co-founder, composer and guitarist with the band.
This is a 5CD set, in a clamshell box, with each disc in an individual wallet. These are accompanied by a 40-page booklet.
Revelations is a 5CD box set
Disc one collects all of the band’s Safari B-sides (including rarities such as ‘Sphinx’ / ‘For You’ – originally given away on a 7” flexi-disc with Flexipop! magazine). This is the first time these tracks have been collected on one release and is essentially an upgrade of 1984’s 12-track rarities collection Mayhem (though completists will want to keep hold of the 2005 Mayhem reissue as it features bonus tracks not available here).
The second disc consists of 20 instrumentals, six of which are newly mixed from the original multi-tracks. CD3 collects 20 alternate takes and mixes, 13 of which are previously unreleased. CD4 compiles 22 studio outtakes and home demos – again, 13 are previously unreleased. And CD5 features 18 previously unreleased live tracks, including a newly discovered recording of a sold-out Birmingham show from 20 May 1981 – five days after the lease of Anthem.
A 2LP vinyl set is effectively a B-sides only collection, replicating the tracklisting on CD1 of the box set and is pressed on ‘grey smoke’ coloured vinyl.
Revelations will be released on 21 August 2026 via Cherry Red.
Pulpwill celebrate their triumphant comeback withLive!,their first live album, released in August.
Live! was recorded during the band’s two shows at London’s O2 Arena on 13 and 14 June 2025 – the week that the band returned to the top of the album charts with their eighth studio album, More. The 18-song set features songs from that chart-topping comeback (‘Spike Island’, ‘Slow Jam’, ‘Famers Market’, ‘Grown Up’, ‘Got To Have Love’ and ‘A Sunset’) alongside indie anthems such as ‘Common People’, ‘Disco 2000’, ‘Do You Remember The First Time?’ and ‘Babies’ and relative obscurity, 1992 single ‘O.U (Gone, Gone)’.
Live! will be available as a 2LP set (limited-edition blue pressing and a standard black vinyl) and as a double CD set. Tracklistings are the same across both formats.
Live! also serves as a soundtrack to the concert film, Pulp: What Do You Do For an Encore?, which will be on streaming service MUBI in Autumn. No plans have yet been announced for a physical or cinema release of the film, which is directed by Garth Jennings, who first worked with the band on the video for 1997 single ‘Help The Aged’ and has since directed films including Son Of Rambow, The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy and Sing. The songs included in the film have yet to be confirmed, though over the two nights at the O2, Pulp played a host of fan favourites not included on Live!, such as ‘Acrylic Afternoons’, ’59 Lyndhurst Grove’ and ‘Party Hard’ (for the first time since 2012).
“A concert is an event where songs come back to life. That’s why this album is called Live!” says frontman Jarvis Cocker. “It’s both a statement of fact (it’s a recording of a live band) & a challenge (come on! Everyone come alive!).”
Live! will be released on 28 August 2026 via Rough Trade.
Kim Carnes has announced Universal Songs: The A&M, EMI America & MCA Years, a 10CD box set of her albums from 1975-’88, due in October.
Universal Songs will be the first multi-album box set from the singer-songwriter, best known for her 1981 hit ‘Bette Davis Eyes’. The albums included are Kim Carnes (1975), Sailin’ (1976), St Vincent’s Court (1979), Romance Dance (1980), Mistaken Identity (1981), Voyeur (1982), Café Racers (1983), Barking At Airplanes (1985), Lighthouse (1986) and View From The House (1988).
The set will be the first time much of Carnes’ back catalogue has been available on CD for many years. While Mistaken Identity, Voyeur, Café Racers, Barking At Airplanes and Lighthouse were all reissued between 2012 and 2014 as in ‘vinyl replica sleeves’ by Culture Factory, the rest of her back catalogue has been nigh-on impossible to track down on CD – as far as SDE can ascertain, her self-titled second album has only been released once on CD (a 2023 Music On CD release), Sailin’ only made it on to CD by way of a 1996 Brazilian release and St Vincent’s Court was only issued in Australia in 1998.
Universal Songs isn’t the whole story – it doesn’t include 1971 debut album Rest On Me, Checkin’ Out The Ghosts (1991) or Chasin’ Wild Trains (2004). But reissue-starved fans will be delighted by bonus tracks across the set including 12” dance mixes that have never been released before on CD, duets with Barbra Streisand and Kenny Rodgers, and the three non-album tracks included on 1993’s best of Honeymoon.
Universal Songs: The A&M, EMI America & MCA Years will be released on 20 November 2026 (was 23 Oct) via Demon.
Leo Sayer has a new 18CD box set, Leothology: The Studio Albums 1973 – Now, out in August.
The box set includes almost all of Sayer’s studio albums (it’s missing 2008’s Australia-only set of orchestral revamps, Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow, presumably for rights reasons) in mini-vinyl replica wallets. Studio albums included are: Silverbird (1973), Just A Boy (1974), Another Year (1975), Endless Flight (1976), Thunder In My Heart (1977), Leo Sayer (1978), Here (1979), Living In A Fantasy (1980), World Radio (1982), Have You Ever Been In Love (1983), Cool Touch (1990), Voice In My Head (2004), Restless Years (2015), Selfie (2019), Northern Songs (2022) and 1992 (2024).
Leothology adds a previously unreleased live album – Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow – Live (recorded in Melbourne in 2008 but not to be confused with the 2006 album Live in Melbourne) – along with Return To Paradise, a 14-track compilation of rarities. The set also includes a 28-page booklet featuring a 3,000 word foreword and track-by-track sleeve notes for Return To Paradise, by Sayer himself.
Disappointingly, Leothology doesn’t find space for the 36-track, 2CD Bonus Tracks set that was included in 2013’s 14CD Just A Box: The Complete Studio Recordings (or indeed any of bonus tracks included on RPM’s 2002 reissue series). Still, at roughly £60 for 18CDs, the value is enough to make all but Sayer diehards feel like dancing.
The Durruti Column will release a new studio album, Renascent – their first in 16 years – in July. The initial single from the album, ‘Liars’, is out now.
As with 2010’s A Paean To Wilson, Vini Reilly is backed by Bruce Mitchell (drums/percussion) and Keir Stewart (producer/multi-instrumentalist). The album took shape over several years, with sessions often taking place in Reilly’s own kitchen. This time around, they’re joined by Manchester-based singer-songwriter Caoilfhionn Rose, who sings on ‘Agonistes’ and plays piano on ‘Sargasso Sea’. Long-standing fans of Reilly will be intrigued by ‘For Friends Everywhere’, which rearranges ‘For Belgian Friends’ (from 1980’s A Factory Quartet) for an orchestral octet.
Yellow vinyl
“Every single piece of music writes itself,” Reilly comments in the album’s press release. “From the moment we’re born we’re never ever instigative, only ever reactive. It’s like Newton’s law of motion, if you’re not pushing against anything, you lose momentum.”
Renascent also looks to Reilly’s roots, with artwork from Factory Records designers Mark Holt and Hamish Muir of 8vo. Meanwhile, the album will carry a ‘Factory Too’ catalogue number.
Renascent will be available on CD (with bonus track ‘All They See is Fire’), three vinyl variations (yellow vinyl; bottle green vinyl with alternate artwork and booklet; and Rough Trade exclusive split purple / green vinyl with flexi-disc featuring ‘All They See Is Fire’, limited to 500 copies). There’s also a white cassette.
Additionally, there’s a super deluxe box set (exclusive to the official shop) which includes the album on heavyweight black vinyl with alternate artwork, an 11-track DVD featuring visualisers for each track, four prints and a poster (CD not included). The set is housed in a 12” slipcase and is limited to 1,000 copies.
Box set is exclusive to the official shop
The first 500 orders of Renascent from The Durutti Column’s official online store will come with an A5 postcard.
Metallica’s 1997 album ReLoad is to be reissued across a number of formats in June, including a massively expanded super deluxe edition box set.
The seventh album by the metal pioneers saw them expand their sound to take in blues and country influences (‘Low Man’s Lyric’ even features hurdy-gurdy and violin) and featured their first-ever guest vocalist, Marianne Faithfull (on ‘The Memory Remains’). A clutch of its songs – including ‘Fuel’ and ‘The Memory Remains’ – have become staples of their live sets. The new edition has been remastered by Reuben Cohen with Greg Fidelman overseeing.
As with previous reissues, dedicated fans will have to start saving up and clearing some shelf space now, as the super deluxe edition is a hefty thing. The box set includes 15 CDs, five LPs, a seven-inch single, and four DVDs. A 128-page book, and a plethora of paraphernalia, including a pack of Rorschach Test cards, poster, sticker, print, plectrums, lyric sheets and laminated tour passes are also included.
ReLOAD box set (click image to enlarge)
The box set features 301 tracks in total, 245 of which are previously unreleased. The CDs take in the remastered album, a four-disc collection of ‘Riffs, Demos, Session Takes, Rough & Alternate Mixes’ (the latest in the Shadowcast rarities series) and eight discs of live material from 1997-’98. On vinyl, there’s five LPs – the remastered ReLoad album on 180g double vinyl and Live at Ministry of Sound ’97, a 140g triple-album – plus a seven-inch single comprising ‘The Memory Remains’ and ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls (Haven’t Heard It Yet Mix)’. And the four DVDs offer behind the scenes, in-studio and live footage, TV appearances and more.
The 3CD edition includes the remaster of the original album, a single-disc best of the Shadowcast rarities set, and a disc comprising 13 of the live tracks included in the big box set. ReLoad (Remastered) will also be available on standard 180g 2LP, CD, and cassette, all featuring the remastered edition of the album.
ReLoad (Remastered) will be released on 26 June via Blackened Recordings.

Classic compilation expanded • First time on vinyl
Pixies have announced an expanded and remastered reissue of the 2001 compilation Complete B-Sides.
The original set collected the bonus tracks from the indie-rock pioneers’ classic first run of singles, with highlights including a raucous live cover of Laurel Near’s ‘In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song)’, originally taken from the 1988 single, ‘Gigantic’; the Kim Deal-sung ‘Into The White’ (B-side of ‘Here Comes Your Man’, 1989); and a fantastic cover of Neil Young’s ‘Winterlong’, first released on ‘Dig For Fire’ (1990).
Complete B-Sides: 1988-97 has been remastered from the original analogue tapes and includes an additional six live tracks. The first two – ‘Planet Of Sound’ and ‘Tame’ were originally released on the 1991 ‘Alec Empire’ single and were recorded at the band’s 26 July 1991 Brixton Academy gig. The remaining four bonus live tracks – ‘Debaser’, ‘The Holiday Song’. ‘Cactus’ and ‘Nimrod’s Son’ – were first released on the 1989 promo Pixies Live and were recorded on 10 August 1989 at Cabaret Metro, Chicago (they were also released as the 1997 EP Debaser: Live, released to promote the band’s Death To The Pixies compilation).
2LP ‘crystal clear’ vinyl available via indie channels
The reissue will be the first time Complete B-Sides has been reissued on vinyl – a 2LP set on either black or clear vinyl. It will also be available as a 2CD edition. And in keeping with the 2024 reissue of At The BBC, the artwork has been given a makeover, using photographs from the archive of Simon Larbalestier, the photographer responsible for the striking imagery on the band’s classic run of albums.
Complete B-Sides: 1988-97 will be released on 26 June via 4AD.
Deep Purple have announced a new studio album, SPLAT!, due in July.
SPLAT! will be the heavy rock pioneers’ 24th studio album and, again, finds the latest line-up of the group – Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Don Airey and Simon McBride – working with producer Bob Ezrin, the man behind the desk for all of their albums since 2013’s Now What?!.
Though details are scarce at the moment, SPLAT! will be a concept album based on an idea from Gillan. “Rather than treating the end as destruction,” says the press release, “the album imagines it as transformation: SPLAT! explores the end of humanity not in any crude apocalyptic sense but as a metamorphosis beyond physical existence.” Heavy stuff.
Gillan says, “Where we are now with this incarnation of Deep Purple feels very much like a very ‘now’ version of Deep Purple as it was in the seventies… We are very much back in with material that is compatible with ‘Highway Star’, ‘Smoke on the Water’, ‘Lazy’ – the dynamics, the balance, and the fun of the music we made from ’69 to ’73… Deep Purple is in a great place right now.
The 13-track album will be available on CD (jewel case and digipak editions) , 2LP editions (mastered at 45RPM and available on black, purple and transparent yellow vinyl), 2LP picture disc, cassette or as a box set. The box includes the 2LP set, a CD, and three 10-inch records featuring live recordings from the 2014 tour. It also features a seven-inch with exclusive non-album track ‘GUINNESIS’ [sic].
SPLAT! will be released on 3 July 2026, via earMUSIC
BMG and The Montreux Jazz Festival have announced The Montreux Years, a live set of soul-jazz great Roberta Flack‘s performances at the festival, due in June.
The 13-track set is available on CD and 2LP vinyl and includes tracks from Flack’s performances at the 1971, 1972, 1990, 2005 and 2008 festivals. It’s more good news for fans of the legendary singer, following the recent release of With Her Songs: The Atlantic Albums, 1969-1978, an 8CD box set which brought albums from her ’70s purple patch back into print.
The Montreux Years is especially welcome thanks to the dearth of quality live material from Flack out there – fans have had to make do with tracks on the 1980 Peabo Bryson duets set Live & More or budget sets such as 2012’s S.O.U.L (which features recordings from her 1985 tour). The first taste of The Montreux Years comes with a joyful version of ‘I’d Like To Be Baby To You’, originally on her 1977 album Blue Lights In The Basement, recorded at the festival in 1990.
The tracks have been fully restored and mastered by Tony Cousins at Metropolis Studios, London and the set comes with sleevenotes from Flack’s manager, Suzanne Coga, along with previously unseen photos.

The Supertramp reissues keep coming. The third batch of 50th anniversary releases arrives in June, with Brother Where You Bound and Free As A Bird back on vinyl.
In keeping with the previous releases in the series, both are 180g pressings and have been half-speed mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
During the tour for 1982’s Famous Last Words co-frontman Roger Hodgson decided to quit the band, leaving Rick Davies as the band’s sole songwriter. The following album, 1985’s Brother Where You Bound, was the group’s proggiest album in over a decade – see the pulsing ‘Better Days’ and the 16-minute title track, which features cameos from guitarists David Gilmour and Scott Gorham. Two years later, Free As A Bird marked another change of direction, with a shift towards dance-pop, an attempt to move with the times that underwhelmed fans and sounds dated today.
Still, both albums are long overdue a vinyl reissue having not been re-pressed since they were first on shelves. And with the previous European CD reissues being back in 2002 (Brother) and 2003 (Free), fans will be hoping a CD reissue programme is on the way.
Brother Where You Bound and Free as a Bird will be released on 19 June via UMR/Polydor.
Newly discovered outtakes and extended tracks from the Fisherman’s Blues sessions • Good value 3CD & 3LP sets
The Waterboys have announced Atlantic Rain, a set of outtakes and extended tracks from the Fisherman’s Blues sessions, due for release in July.
Anyone who thought 2013’s six-disc, 121-track Fisherman’s Box and the 2017 ‘collectors edition’ were the last word when it came to the sessions, think again. Atlantic Rain came about when Mike Scott went through around 80 reels from the sessions that hadn’t been labelled correctly and discovered dozens of forgotten tracks.
As well as previously unreleased covers of artists such as Bob Dylan (‘Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground’), Prince (‘When Doves Cry’ – released to Patreon subscribers last year) and The Rolling Stones (‘No Expectations’), Scott’s archival work uncovered several unreleased originals, including ‘Come Back To Galway’, ‘Light Shine On Me’, ‘Endless Store’ and ‘Man With The Wind At His Heels’.
Atlantic Rain compiles 25 of these tracks (all never before released, with seven extended versions) across three discs – the tracklisting is the same on the 3CD and 3LP vinyl editions – and comes with a book featuring a 15,000 word essay from Scott and unseen photos.
The band are also releasing Strange Boat, an official shop-exclusive companion EP on either CD or 10-inch vinyl, featuring a further six tracks from the sessions. All are unreleased, with “two of them ‘new’ and four of them variations on familiar songs”.

Remastered and phase-corrected album • Unreleased mixes • 5CD
Cream’s third album, 1968’s Wheels Of Fire, will be released as an expanded super deluxe edition in June.
Wheels Of Fire was originally released on 14 June 1968 in the US; less than a month later, the three-piece – Ginger Baker (drums, vocals), Jack Bruce (bass, lead vocals) and Eric Clapton (guitar, vocals) – announced that they were going their separate ways…
The 5CD super deluxe edition of features a 2026 remaster and a previously unreleased phase-corrected version of the entire album. The latter version was achieved by using software to reverse the Haeco-CSG effect originally applied to the album. This was a 1960s audio processing technique intended to make stereo recordings compatible with mono turntables but had a side-effect of ‘blurring’ the stereo imaging. The first CD offers the remaster of the original followed by this new version that removes the Haeco-CSG effect.
CD 2 offers Wheels Of Fire stereo and mono reference reels, sourced from producer Felix Pappalardi’s personal collection while discs three and four deliver Live At The Fillmore Auditorium & Winterland Ballroom – tracks from the March 1968 shows used for Live Cream (1970) and Live Cream Volume 2 (1972) with a previously unreleased version of ‘We’re Going Wrong’
The fifth and final CD features 15 remastered rarities, including early versions, alternate mixes, single edits and live recordings (nine previously unreleased tracks).
The first taste of the new set: a previously unreleased early version of ‘White Room’
This is a 10-inch set and comes with a hardcover book with sleeve notes by Jim Farber. The CDs are packaged separately in a gatefold folio and the book and folio slot into the outer rigid slipcase which has a special silver laminated finish.
Meanwhile, the 3LP vinyl set features the new phase-corrected mix of the original album, the mono reference version of the album, and 11 tracks from disc five of the CD set. It’s pressed on 180g black vinyl and presented in a gatefold sleeve, complete with a metallic Pantone finish.
Wheels Of Fire super deluxe edition is out 12 June 2026 on UMR/Polydor.

2CD set hand-picked by Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Erasure star
Cherry Red has announced a new 2CD compilation of remixes by electro-pop pioneer Vince Clarke, out in June.
Remix / Remodel – The Vince Clarke Remixes follows Clarke’s sideline as a prolific remixer, featuring tracks chosen by the man himself. The compilation includes well-known remixes – such as Clarke’s spin on the Happy Mondays‘ ‘Wrote For Luck’ and Depeche Mode’s ‘Behind The Wheel’ – alongside many reworkings that have only previously been available as digital releases or promo CDrs.
Among the latter category are Blossoms’ ‘To Do List (After The Breakup)’, a streaming-only release from 2024; Clarke’s take on James Yorkston & Nina Persson’s ‘A Moment Longer’, a digital-only single last year; and Hifi Sean & David McAlmont’s ‘Real Thoughts In Real Time’, from a 2023 digital-only EP. The compilation also boasts a remix previously unreleased in any form – of ABAZABA & Gogol Bordello’s ‘Isolation’ (yep, the Joy Division song).
Remix / Remodel’s sleeve notes have been written by Richard Evans of the official Erasure fan club and website, the Erasure Information Service. Meanwhile, Clarke has added ‘album sleeve photographer’ to his crammed CV by taking the cover shot of his cat, Smudge.
Remix / Remodel – The Vince Clarke Remixes is out 26 June via Cherry Red.
New stereo mix by Stephen Street plus previously released B-sides, live tracks • 3LP/2CD
The Cranberries have announced several new editions of their 1993 debut Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?.
The Irish grunge-pop act, fronted by Dolores O’Riordan, broke on to the scene in October 1992 with their debut single ‘Dreams’, which peaked at No 27 in the UK chart and was swiftly followed by ‘Linger’ (No 14). The singles helped their debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? to (ahem) linger around the chart for over a year, eventually selling over half a million in the UK. Meanwhile, they became alt-rock stars in the US, with the album selling over five million.
The new “33rd anniversary deluxe edition” comes in a variety of physical formats:
2CD / 3LP: Original album newly remastered; original album remixed by original producer Stephen Street’; B-sides; live tracks; ‘Linger’ remix by Iain Cook of Chvrches
CD / Vinyl LP: Original album newly remastered
LP: Vinylphile pressing [US only] cut directly from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl
Fans who already have the 2018 super deluxe edition of the album might be forgiven for feeling underwhelmed – that version added early demos, 1990’s Uncertain EP, B-sides and a disc full of live tracks and radio sessions. This time around, the main draw is the new Stephen Street stereo remix – all of the B-sides featured on the 2018 edition, the four live tracks are taken from the 1994 Astoria II gig previously released as the VHS/DVD Live, and the new remixes won’t set the pulses of long-time fans racing. Meanwhile, a remastered Uncertain EP will be released with no extra tracks as a 12-inch single.
The 3LP version appears to be D2C only, and as stated above, the audiophile ‘Vinylphile’ edition is only available in the US. Given that Stephen Street has created a new stereo mix, there is a high chance of a new Atmos Mix appearing around the time of release.
Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? is released on 22 May 2026 via Island/UMe

Quick pre-order at the SDE shop • Stereo and Immersive remixes of Under Wraps and Ian Anderson’s Walk Into Light • Unreleased live recordings
Jethro Tull have announced the latest in their series of super deluxe edition sets – a 5CD+BR edition of their 15th studio album, 1984’s Under Wraps, due in May.
Under Wraps threw Tull fans a curveball on release with its embrace of the electronic sounds of the day and synthetic production. It was also the first Tull album since This Was that wasn’t mostly written by Anderson alone, with keyboardist Peter-John Vettese credited on seven of the songs. But for fans who’d heard Anderson’s first solo album, Walk Into Light (which featured five Vettese co-writes), the synth textures of Under Wraps felt like a natural progression. Meanwhile, Ian Anderson’s lyrics reflected his fascination with Cold war spy novels, rooting the songs firmly in the early ’80s.
Under Wraps and Walk Into Light have been revamped for the new edition, with two sets of stereo remixes by Bruce Soord that use more natural, traditional ‘2026’ drums and the original drum sounds, plus The contents of the new edition are
CD1: Under Wraps (2026 drums), remixed by Bruce Soord, plus bonus songs including three previously unreleased tracks
CD2: Under Wraps (with original drums), remixed by Bruce Soord, plus bonuses with original drums and ‘Under Wraps Intro’
CD3: Walk Into Light (2026 drums) remixed by Bruce Soord plus bonuses with 2026 drums including five previously unreleased tracks
CD4: Walk Into Light (with original drums), remixed by Bruce Soord, plus bonus tracks
CD5: 13 remastered tracks from the Tull’s 9 September 1984 Hammersmith Odeon gig
Blu-Ray: The contents of CDs 1-4 in Atmos, 5.1 and stereo plus ‘Lap Of Luxury’ promo video and a tour rehearsal video.
Like previous Tull sets in the series, it’s well-priced considering the content, though fans might be dismayed to see that the whole 24-track set from the Hammersmith gig isn’t included. The ‘2026 drums’ editions of both Under Wraps and Walk Into Light will also be released as standalone single LPs.
Under Wraps: The Unwrapped Edition is out on 15 May 2026 via Parlophone. Pre-order from the SDE shop using this link or the button below.
Previously unreleased Wembley Stadium 1996 show • 4CD+Blu-ray
Warner Music Group have announced a 4CD+blu-ray super deluxe edition of Tina Turner’s 1996 album, Wildest Dreams, coming at the end of June.
Wildest Dreams was Turner’s ninth solo album and her first for almost seven years, at the time. It featured the previous year’s Bond theme ‘Goldeneye’, written by Bono and The Edge of U2, as well as collaborations with Pet Shop Boys, Sheryl Crow, Barry White, Sting, and a cover of Massive Attack’s ‘Unfinished Sympathy’.
4CD+blu-ray super deluxe
The super deluxe edition includes the original album remastered, a disc of contemporary B-sides and remixes, the 1996 Wembley Stadium show over two CDs and a Blu-ray featuring a remastered Live In Amsterdam / Wildest Dreams Tour, originally released on VHS and Laserdisc in 1996 and DVD the following year. The booklet features new liner notes from journalist Jason Draper.
Meanwhile, a 2CD expanded edition features the original album remastered and the B-sides and remixes disc, while the 2LP edition features the original album (remastered) across two vinyl records.
Wildest Dreams super deluxe edition is out 26 June on WMG.
Electronica heroes cover ABBA, The Carpenters, David Essex
Doublespeak – a new collaboration between Erasure’s Vince Clarke, Blancmange’s Neil Arthur and electronic producer-writer Benge – will release their self-titled debut album in May.
Arthur and Clarke first worked together back in the ’80s, when the Blancmange man contributed an unused song to Clarke’s short-lived project The Assembly. In 2017, Arthur approached Clarke with the idea for Doublespeak, pitching a collection of covers of artists including Young Marble Giants, ABBA, The Carpenters and David Essex using analogue electronics. Bengle – producer of the last six Blancmange albums and Fader – got on board, completing the three-piece.
A preview of opening track, a thumping cover of Fad Gadget’s ‘Back To Nature’
“I knew so little about some of these songs that they were like demos to me,” says Clarke. “They felt like brilliant new songs that you want to get your hands on. I’ve had people do cover versions of my songs and honestly there’s no better tribute. So that’s what we wanted to do here.”
“What’s really stood out for us on this journey is how good these songs are,” adds Arthur. “It’s from doing your own version that you realise what incredible pieces of work they are.”
The 11-track album is available to pre-order on single LP (in either ‘limited-edition green ripple’ or black vinyl), CD or cassette. The first 500 orders from the official store will also receive an exclusive signed print.
