New live album from Neil Young. This was recorded on his 2015 tour with ‘The Promise of the Real’. The 2CD version is out this week, but you’ll need to wait until August for the 3LP, which is remarkable cheap on Amazon Germany (for Neil Young vinyl!)  Read more

Second single from the Pet Shop Boys‘ SUPER album, which it’s fair to say has received mixed reviews from fans. Nice to see the PSBs carrying out the CD single tradition though and this features two new songs. Read more

Don’t pay inflated prices for the sold-out-in-the-UK, blue vinyl version of the Manic Street Preachers Everything Must Go, since while it appears to be a UK exclusive for HMV it’s available from another retailer in Germany…

HMV site can’t cope with ‘demand’ for online exclusives

Frustrated fans who were unable to get to a bricks and mortar HMV store in the UK this morning, were left frustrated when the music retailer’s website could not cope with the number of people trying to order exclusive coloured vinyl editions from the Manic Street Preachers, The Velvet Underground, Deep Purple and others.
