Tears For Fears release The Tipping Point, their first studio album in over 17 years, and it’s a cracker. The SDE-exclusive blu-ray and deluxe CD have sold out but watch out for an SDE interview with Curt and Roland this week.
The Pixies’ triumphant live shows at Brixton Academy in 2004, which ended an 11-year hiatus, are released as Live in Brixton. This is issued as large-format 8CD and 8LP coloured vinyl box sets.
The A&M Years is an 8CD box set featuring ’90s British band Dodgy. It features 128 tracks, including the three studio albums The Dodgy Album, Homegrown and Free Peace Sweet. Each album comes a disc of bonus tracks and two bonus CDs offer live cuts and remixes. SIGNED editions still available and there’s also a 4LP coloured vinyl package.

Another great 4CD remix compilation from the Now That’s What I Call Music team. Amongst its 44 tracks are new-to-CD extended versions from Paul McCartney, Eurythmics, Elton John and Red Box.
Scottish band Hipsway’s 1986 debut is reissued and repackaged in a gatefold vinyl LP. This features the hit ‘The Honeythief’ and has been remastered for vinyl by Paul McGeechan and comes with extensive new sleeve notes. It’s reissued by indie label Last Night From Glasgow.
Delayed from a few weeks back. The one and only album from The Madness is reissued on 180g black vinyl with new sleeve notes. It was originally issued in 1988 and it’s fair to say was not very well received critically or commercially. ‘The Madness’ were four of the original members: Suggs, Lee Thompson, Chris Foreman and vocalist Cathal Smyth.
