The standalone blu-ray of Prince’s 1991 album Diamonds and Pearls is released a month after the other formats. It features a Dolby Atmos Mix of the studio album and can be ordered via the SDE shop.

Duran Duran return with a brand new studio album called Danse Macabre. The spooky, ghoul-inspired 13-song collection features three brand new songs, covers of classic tracks from other artists.  A Bob Clearmountain Dolby Atmos Mix (and 5.1 mix) is on the SDE-exclusive blu-ray audio. Limited stock now available due to cancellations/contingency.

See That Girl 1979-2000 is a forthcoming 8CD box set featuring music from the all too short career of Kirsty MacColl. It features 47 previously unreleased tracks. Look out for an SDEtv unboxing in the next few days.

Eighties synth-pop legends OMD return with a new album called Bauhaus Staircase.

Demon’s Suede30 campaign continues with the delayed ‘Metal Mickey’ seven-inch picture disc. Sold out on the SDE shop.

The Roaring Forty 1983-2023 is a new 14CD Billy Bragg box set which contain more than 300 songs, including each of Billy’s twelve studio albums, non-album singles and B-sides, session tracks, rare live recordings, collaborations and previously unreleased material from across his career.

Nirvana’s 1993 album In Utero is reissued for its 30th anniversary. 5CD and 8LP sets are available. The words ‘over-engineered’ and ‘expensive’ come to mind.

Altered Images’ 1983 album Bite is reissued for its 40th anniversary.

This U2 reissue of their 1993 album on coloured vinyl appears to have been released last week (a week earlier than originally announced) but we’ll mention it here anyway, in case it passed you by!
