David Bowie / Loving The Alien box set CD, Vinyl, Box Set, Book
For the fourth year in succession, Parlophone Records release a major David Bowie box set. Loving The Alien (1983-1988) will feature his three solo albums from the period in question, and offer fans something extra by including a ‘new production’ of 1987’s Never Let Me Down, the first audio release of the Serious Moonlight Tour and a some new-to-CD remixes.

Only a few weeks back it seemed like a big deal when it was announced that some of Queen‘s Live Aid performance would be included in the soundtrack to the forthcoming Bohemian Rhapsody film. Then, the very next day almost eight hours of Live Aid audio – what was issued on DVD in 2004 – appeared on download site 7 Digital. Since then, with similar lack of fanfare, it has also appeared on Spotify.

John Lennon‘s Imagine album is reissued as a six-disc (four CDs and two blu-ray audio discs) super deluxe edition box set that is ‘remixed and remastered’ and contains all manner of outtakes, sessions, demos, alternate takes, surround mixes, and more. 135 tracks in total.
