Underworld / Drift Series 1 box
Underworld‘s ‘Drift’ project kicked off a year ago with Rick Smith and Karl Hyde aiming to create and publish music and film episodically for 52 weeks. The idea was to capture”one year inside the minds of Underworld”. The fruits of that labour are now being issued as a seven-disc box set and a special highlight ‘sampler’ editions.

Bat For Lashes / Lost Girls review
Let’s be honest, ‘liking’ a new album – if it’s any good – shouldn’t be hard work. Yes, we all have records in our collection that we couldn’t ‘get into’ for a long time and then something clicked and they became all-time favourites, but these tend to be the exceptions rather than the rule.
I tried really hard to enjoy Bat For Lashes previous offering, The Bride, but sadly it was a case of stilted at the altar – great concept but barring the odd highlight (‘Sunday Love’) it was a collection of some rather rambling melodies, unengaging songs and brittle production. The Dukes of Stratosphear / Reissues CD, Vinyl, Blu-ray
XTC‘s alter egos The Dukes of Stratosphear feature in the latest in the band’s acclaimed ‘Surround Sound Series’ with a new set called ‘Psurroundabout Ride’ which features the complete recordings newly mixed in stereo and surround sound by Steven Wilson. Individual vinyl reissues of both albums are also released. These releases have been delayed for a couple of weeks.
